CastCount Terms of Service

Welcome to CastCount. This Terms of Service agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between you ("User" or "you") and the CastCount development team ("we" or "us"), and governs your rights and obligations when using the CastCount application ("the App").

Please read and understand this Agreement in full before using the App. By starting to use the App, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to all of its terms.

Service Description

CastCount is a fishing activity recording tool. The App uses Apple Watch motion sensors to automatically detect casting motions and log fishing sessions, while integrating GPS tracks, weather snapshots, and health data to generate comprehensive fishing records.

We do not require users to register an account, and we do not store user data on servers. The App operates on Apple HealthKit, Core Motion, CoreLocation, WeatherKit, and StoreKit, with all data stored locally on the user's device.

User Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or public order
  • Upload or process any content that is unlawful or infringes on the privacy or intellectual property of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or disrupt the normal operation of the App
  • Use the App for any unauthorized commercial purpose
  • Engage in any other actions that may compromise the security or stability of the platform

We reserve the right to restrict or prohibit access if you violate any of the above.

Intellectual Property

All interface designs, icons, functional logic, animations, copy, and other content in the App are owned by us or licensed to us. Without our prior written consent, no individual or organization may reproduce, modify, distribute, or use such content for commercial purposes.

Privacy

We take user privacy seriously. CastCount does not collect personal identity information and does not store user data on servers. All fishing records, health data, and location information are stored only on your device. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

Service Termination or Changes

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or modify part or all of the App's features at any time for reasons including system maintenance, security upgrades, or changes in laws and regulations. We will notify you via in-app notifications or update prompts.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." We make no express or implied warranties regarding the continuous availability of the service or the accuracy of activity detection. We are not liable for data loss or damage caused by force majeure, system failure, or improper user operation.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of your country or region. In the event of a dispute, you may first seek to resolve it through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.

Agreement Updates

We may modify this Agreement in response to changes in laws, regulations, or product features. Any changes will be prominently displayed within the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
